Spyfish IC finally in place.

Thanks to The folks at The Performance Garage I was finally able to Install their IC ( RX-7 Store SMIC as well)
We just had a heat wave here So don't really notice the Icy cold temps yet but on the highway it was around 39 Deg C.(Power FC) when the temps outside were 87 F. Only on the highway for a couple of miles though after sitting in traffic. I'm looking at a 9 inch fan in summit to pull air through when sitting at lights.

Just need to hit that stuff with some sand paper and buffing wheel.

they look good. i like the fact that the duct for the IC covers it up so well, my pettit duct has no mounting points, and kinda slides around sometimes....

Vence copied garfinkles ic and duct work and most likely improved on it he does great work . garfinkles fan is as wide as the ic core , check to see if this is 12 inches.if so try a 12 inch fan .His covers the entire core.which looks and works good. Vence runs performance garage

If you have seen pictures of this set up before you will notice that the current duct is a little wider and shifted towards the battery(covers the core completely). I was able to make the elbow pipe fit, although I'd prefer the correct angles and length( something to be worked out later ) and I cut my own curved Ypipe connector out of a Greddy pipe that they had laying around. The duct's location still will not fit the APEXi intakes in their normal location, I had to make new mounts to position them lower and further to the pass. side. I dont Think I can use a fan larger than 9in. because of the benf in the inlet of the IC. The core is not as tall as the M2 so the 10 in fan would still be big. I need flat and good air flow.

I don't understand the problem with you folks and your CWR IC's. I know sever peopple that have them and did not get their ducts as well. Now if the company went belly up that is one thing but they are making the kits again and they still come with ducts. All of you should get your ducts that was to come with your kits before any new customer recieves a complete kit. That's just how I feel.
