If you want to call people out just do it. No offense. This forum doesn't belong to the mods. They don't make the rules but they have to enforce them to keep this forum running. I'm certainly glad to have the mods around. It makes buying and selling a safer experience.

Well said.
It is just funny how this forum tries to hide the fact that it is about making money... behind "it is about supporting the community" I mean really, you can't even mention other forum names on here... I have been a member for a long time and have just watched it get worse and worse... Deleting entire threads with good information just cause there was a mention of a shop that supplied one little part.... for example.

Also, don't act like it is for the good of the members, there is no sort of screening program done, just send them money and you can be a vendor.

Not trying to start a battle here and yes, he was douchey but I know a lot of people that don't like the attitude of the forum and don't post here any more for that reason. Does this help the community? I have seen it on every forum...

Of course the forum is about making money. Having a forum of this size isn't cheap. I don't think anyone is hiding anything about that fact. I understand how you feel about the forums changing but everything changes. Once a forum gets to a certain size, it usually has to change to sustain itself.

I don't think vendors paying for selling rights is for the good of the members. I think the buyers feedback threads are for the good of the members. The money from vendors is for keeping the forum up and running. I don't care if the person I buy from is a vendor or not. What I care about is feedback. To me, being a vendor means absolutely nothing.

I can understand that alot of people have invested their time and hard work on the forum and hate to see it change but the forum doesn't owe anybody anything. The forum is free to use. Do the changes help the community? I don't know. What I do know is that having a stable, professionally run forum is necessity. There are also other awesome rx7 forums around. If the people you speak of hate it here so much, tell them to go somewhere else and grow the community there. The more forums the better. Hell I'll join them all.

hahahah douchey.

Anyway, why hate on the mods that are just trying to do their jobs (volunteers). Sure, not all of them are perfect but I don't see any wrong doing in this thread.
