Spirit R rims ( what r they worth )

Anybody know roughly what a set of perfect cond. SPIRIT R rims are worth.

its the shadow chrome ones that come off the type A spirit r

it has no rubber!

yeah coz a sales guy at a import dealer said their about 1grand per a wheel.

im from australia

so that sounds about right i guess

any1 know the actual specs of the rims

8.5 rear 8 front??
or was it 9 rear 8.5 front

What they are worth = what someone is willing to pay for them.

However, A$800-1000 per rim would be a ballpark figure.

American prices are somewhat inflated, for various reasons.

Can't you buy them from BBS. At any rate they are way over price for 17" rims. There are a host of knock off that could be had for much less.

The spirit R rims have specific offsets and a different color. You can buy something similar from BBS. For that kind of money, I'd be looking into Fikse or Kinesis.

Well like Rich said, they're 17 X 8 front and 17 X 8.5 rear and have a perfect (OEM) +50 mm offset, but they also come in a special color that isn't available from BBS directly. Moreover, they come w/ the Flying M centercaps, and are very rare (ie they hold their value). So yea, I'd say they're quite different. And even then, the regular BBS RGRs are something like $700 a pop anyway.
