Speedbleeders Install

Well, it seemed like a very easy job...... Removed the old one and put the new one in and it snapped like a twig. I was tightening it up with a 1/4 drive ratchet and the tension was such that it seemed like it was just the threadlocker. Plus it still has a few rounds of thread left. Just an FYI for all of you installing them to be careful. Here are a few pics after drilling and removing it.....

Yep, very easy to overtorque those suckers. It almost doesn't feel like any torque at all.

IMO, I wouldn't use threadlock on those. Just use some thread sealant, but not threadlock.

You know that Speedbleeders should be torqued to 32-40 inch-lbs, i.e., approximately nothing.

If I remember correctly, Speed Bleeders are intentionally made of very soft metal so that when people ignore the instructions and over torque them, they break - which is better than stripping the threads on the caliper.
