A-Spec Tuning oil pans....any feedback yet?
The level sensor can be left out as long as you are keeping a eye on oil consumption and pressure there is no need. I do not think you will be able to get the subframe low enough to get the pan in luckily all the ones we've done have been when the motor is out.
something i read off of NoPistons....Judge ITO has used a center punch to put small dimples on both mating faces before siliconing it. Says it gives the silicone something to "grab on to" which makes sense and he hasn't seen a leak since.
That's old school thinking I have done it on my big blocks back when I was a wee little tot. It can and does help. It is very important to keep the surface area clean alot of leaks come from oil dripping down on the mating surface and not being seen then it never seals.

And about the level sensor, is the thought that as long as you pay attention to the pressure gauge you should be fine? I think I would be paranoid to not have the level sensor.
