Im 6'4" and it is hard to fit my legs under the steering wheel, even when you are sitting you have to strattle the wheel. It can be a little bit unconfortable! Head room is not really an issue for me. You have to remember that this car wasnt built for comfort, but for performance!

I'm 6'2".. kinda tight on the leg room, lost of head room... Just get an aftermarket seat and seat rail... if you still don't have the leg room you can drill new holes in the rail and mount the seat an inch or two farther back..

Aren't there any seat modifications you guys can get? I know there's a million kits sold for vipers to lower/push back their seats. Or you could just pull a Hightower and rip the driver seat out and sit on the storage bin

I bought the RX-7 because I do fit. I'm also 6'4" and had a Boxter S on order damn thing came in and I didn't fit, wasn't even close. Left there and looked at BMW's same problem. Saw a RX-7 sitting at a dealers lot when I was taking my wife to a furniture store. Drove it that day, came back next day and drove it again then bought it.

It really depends on where all your height is... If your legs are really long, then you'll need to worry about the steering wheel and your knees..

If your height is mostly from the waist up, then the headroom will be a factor, plus if you plan to drag or auto-x, fitting in with a helmet. So in that case, you'd want to think about new seats..

An FD with a sunroof has a bit less head room.
