spare tire cover pic request

hey guys, well when i got my car it had no rear interior in it and now i am starting to peice it back together and i was just wondering if yall could help. i have no idea how this spare tire cover is supposed to go on there so any help would be greatly apprecaited. and do these cars have that big thick pad under the carpet like the 2nd gens do? or is it just the carpet? thanks alot

the curved part goes torward the front and the flat goes toward the back...Is this what your asking?

Hi there... the spare tire cover can only go on, one way. Its kinda roundish shaped, with one "side" flat. That flat side's gotta lay facing the "wall" under the lights. That's how it's suppose to be. And yep, think heavy padding stuck under the carpet.

yea thats what i'm thinkin. it dont fit like a glove lol. i just didnt know if i had it on the right way or not but i did, it just dont fit as well as i thought it would thats all. but thanks for all the responses. i really apprecaite it.

Even though these have indentations that look at though they provide secure anchors, they don't seem to really fit all that well.

I took mine out, it doesn't stay in place, plus i had a small water leak and it made a mess to clean up when the carpet was in
