Source for vacuum hose and fittings?

I'm looking for suggestions as to a good source for high quality silicone vacuum hose and fittings. I need a couple of brass tees, some EDPM vacuum caps, and high quality hose. I'd like to be able to order it all from one supplier at once. Anyone have suggestions?

Hmm. The fittings are no trouble from McMaster-Carr, but for silicone hose I'd look elsewhere.

I bought vacuum caps from the local auto store.

For the hose I'd get bakerprecision or hightempsilicone (if they're still in business). There is good silicone and just silicone - make sure you get the good stuff.

Bakerprecision is the best hose I have ever found. Do not buy any of the Ebay trash. Get the 4mm for rats nest nipples, 6mm for larger stuff.

McMaster-Carr has good caps, but I had a hard time finding the brass tees I was looking for. I think I finally did though.

I'll check it out. I'm definitely looking for good stuff. I have a hard enough time figuring things out without having flaky hoses or connections making it worse.

Hosetechniques for vacuum hose as well. You can purchase by the foot, or per car. IMO, the car kit was too much hose. Purchase it by the foot.

^^^ Hose Techniques was a good kit.

Again, lots of extra hose in the kit - but not a bad price all in all. Seemed to be good stuff that fits well.

Thanks guys. Hose Techniques had what I wanted. I'm not looking to do a complete hose job on the car, just needed some hose and fittings to do an EBC.

If you need brass T's, you can get 1/8" size from Petsmart (no kidding) in the aquarium section. Fits silicone vacuum hose VERY snugly.

Larger size T's can be found in the hardware/Help! aisle at Pep Boys, I believe. McMaster-Carr should have them as well.

Definitely McMaster-Carr for the EPDM vacuum caps. Buy plenty . The EPDM takes the heat great and lasts a long time. Parts store caps SUCK, I've had plenty fail on me over the years.

What type of caps should be used? I heard that just normal caps would melt in the engine bay? Should I use normal caps anyways?

I don't know, but with the boost controller, I need to cap off some lines. Since these are right next to the turbos and engine, they will get mighty hot. I want to make sure that they go on and won't come off or leak unless I cut them at some point in the future. I went with the McMaster-Carr EDPM caps because they list the cap's specs right there.
