Sound from the front part of the car

everytime i step on the brakes at low speed i hear a noise coming from the lower front of the car, like near the shocks. it sounds like a buckling sound and it is only coming from the front of the car. i don't know whats going on

I'd say its something to do with your brakes. With what you've stated theres no way to help you man. Give more details and maybe we can help you out.

Does it sound kinda-sorta similar to a rear suspension clunk, only from the front? If so, check out your ball joints and bushings and whatnot... perhaps something is in need of replacement. When you apply the brakes, you are suddenly applying a massive torque to the front suspension, so it makes sense that if there were play somewhere, it'd made a sound.

Warped brake rotors. If the pulsing sound slows as you come to a stop, it's probably it.

Buy a new set of pads and rotors and you'll be good to go.

If you don't have a torque wrench, buy one of those.and a 21mm deep socket, and every time the car gets worked on, re-snug the lugnuts to 80 ft-lb. Most shops overtorque lugnuts and this can lead to rotor warpage.
