Sorry..another limp mode Q

The car goes into limp mode just occasionally. It's been set up non-sequential/emissions gone, so lots of unused connectors with 330 ohm resistors. All unused connectors should have resisitors, correct?

1. Do the resistors stop the codes? Got too many to count, making it hard to figure out which ones are causing the issue. After searching it seems that there are a limited number of sensors or whatnot that could actually cause limp, right?

I'd appreciate any tips on this, thanks.

Yes, if you have the resistors, you will NOT get a code.

Interesting...the resistors are in most of the connectors. I'll recheck and make sure, plus make sure they're making good contact.

They should be in ALL unused connectors, is this correct? Thanks for the post.

All unused female connectors. The connectors which are part of the emissions controls will not cause the car to go into limp mode. However, some of the turbo control system codes will put the car into limp mode.
