Someone make these!... AST + coolant neck elimination

I have always wanted one of these, but don't really feel like shelling out $500+ they are new... And unfortunately I lack the know how to make one myself.

It eliminates the AST and get's rid of the ugly front coolant housing.

Any vendor up for making something like this? I'm sure it would be a big hit and I would be on the list to buy one depending on what pricing you would make it.

I have one already... I just want one of these. They also have a much larger tank area than the stock filler neck.

500 is rediculous, the only part that requires CNC machining is the base, the rest is simple materials cut and welded to fit. and why do all these companies use those shitty lev-r-vent caps? they're garbage..

How does this look better than the stock filler neck? Both are ugly.

Ummmm, been making for quite awhile. $275 I think was what i was selling them for. Now let me take a moment to thank all those who bought them for supporting me in this thread!!! J/k anyway yes we make them. $500 is a stupid price.

Pic is here.

~s~ looks better than the one posted at the top. A-Spec does great work. I was just admiring the welds on a DownPipe I recently purchased from them. WOW.

Dammit i needed one of these... I searched forever and couldn't find one. Well i did find just the replacement piece for the thermostat housing from Defined autoworks. Himni racing makes one also with just the flange and the cap (good luck getting a hold of them)..

I might order one of the a-spec ones in the near future..

I seriously dont get why anybody wouldnt just go with a T2 replacement cap and eliminate the ast. I ran that for years and had zero problems ever. Just gotta take a little more time when doing a coolant change to bleed the system very well. Not a big deal though, and definitly not worth $500 or even $250.

I don't sell them to eliminate the AST. All the ones I sold were for fitment issues (larger turbo's, 20B's, large turbo's on 20B's) with one exception and that was wanting to have something different under their hood. As for worth the $250 If you mean versus buying a cap your right.
