gasket maker on throttle body = bad idea

this was just plain stupid of me. While trying to do my spark plugs i came across my throttle body gasket which was ripped. So for a temporary fix, put sum gasket maker along with the gasket. Now jus yesterday i was going to attempt to do the double throttle mod but couldnt get the throttle body off. What would be the best way to get that off since that gasketmaker i put on there seemed to have worked better than i thought

Disconnect all the fasteners and knock it slightly wuh a non gnarring (leather or dead blow) hammer.

In general if you're going to be taking a rubber mallet etc to engine components, it's a good idea to thread back on the fasteners a few turns before you start wailing away. This applies to flywheels, and I'd recommend it for TBs too
