So, i drive a TT 3000gt, and am considering a different platform to build up. I have a bunch of questions i'd appreciate if you guys could answer. ( BTW, do you have something akin to www.mkiv.com (supra) www.stealth316 (3si) ? can find alot of info on those kinds of sites)

First, whats the reliability of the motor? How does it respond when modded?
How labor intensive is modding/maintenance? From the pic's that i've seen it actually looks like its a pretty open ended system, with decent room under the hood to manuever.
How is money invested v reward (ie: 1/4 mile times) ?
Any problematic issues? I've read about crappy paint on 93 cars, I also know from researching the rx8 that despite the low displacement, the cars have marginal fuel economy at best.
What should I look for when inspecting one for purchase?

Thats all I can think of for now, you will probably see me around alot more and i'll be prodding around until I become educated. 2800lb platform is more the enticing.

Thanks for link, although the search picture is a tad bit tedious at this point given that I can gather 5x the information from someone who knows it , rather then smash thread links hoping I entered the correct keyword in an attempt to salvage some vestige of information.
