some questions about premix.
well i didn't want to do it but i think that i'm going to have to. so here are my questions.....do i have to completley remove the omp or just unplug it? also what about emissions? can you still pass or is it impossible? also what mix ratio do most of you run? i was thinking of going with klotz because it's easy for me to get and i have to run it in my fourwheeler anyway. my mods are non-seq, catback, down pipe, intake, power fc, and soon to be mid pipe. thanks for the help.

KEEP the omp! The premix just helps out. I really doubt you will pass emissions. 4oz per 12 gallons.
I've heard of Klotz but know nothing about it, I just picked up some Yamalube 2-S.

the reason why i was going to do straight premix is because i think that my omp might be bad because mey stock ecu was giveng me a omp code but then i have put in the pfc and haven't run the car yet. so if you say i should keep it then how do i check it? all of the connectors are plugged in tight so if there is a problem still then it is the pump. so how do i check it?

I started a thread on the pfc section, apparently you cant turn off the fuel cut on decel function. So if you are driving hard and let off the gas, the injectors shut off when the car goes into decel. This is preventing me from completely taking out my omp. I'll just be using premix with the stock omp. You might be able to turn off the fuel cut on decel with the datalogit, but i'm not sure.

m/m oil, i have used it in most of my cars and know of a junk yard owner that swore by the stuff. He dump it in the intanks of all his motors before starting them. He told me it was great for lubing valves and stuff that had been stiting a while. I know we don't have valves, but i believe in the stuff and it has always performed as advertised!
