some input from the experts please
my 93 fd looked like it was an exspensive gas grill burning a good steak the other day, with all the smoke coming from between the hood seams and underneath the car. i knew the time would come. the turbos are dumping oil and it is being pushed out all over the place. i have a new set of factory turbos. i just received my m2 heavy duty clutch last week. i am ordering a mazda reman engine monday. mods consist of a m2 intake, dp, reprogrammed ecu, pfs cat back. i want to get all the needed stuff together before starting this project. any input would be helpfull, ( i am over my budget already) i need advise on silicone or the goodyear vacome lines. is there anything else i can do at this stage that is not too $.

just get some vaccum lines that won't kink when you put them at a 180degree angle. Silicone has worked great for many people so I think they are ok, no need to buy something more expensive.

Just buy the Silicon hose from Baker Precision. It's better quality than the hose-techniques, and it's cheaper. I bought mine in February and it costed me under $70 and they gave me more than I actually purchased. I highly recommend them.
You should also have your injectors cleaned and blueprinted and take a look at your Fuel pulsation dampner.
Also if your motor is out it's a good time to look at all the maintanece items. I.E. all coolant hoses, belts, double check your sensors, add a couple of engine grounds. Your reman should come with a new waterpump and thermostat, if not I would change those as well. If you haven't upgraded your radiator I would do so now, or at least have your stock unit cleaned and rodded out by a good radiator shop.
Also an excellent time to add gauges. If your looking for inexpensive gauges, the autometers are great for the price you pay. Some people don't like them, but for under $50 you can't go wrong with them.

I took mine to R.C. engineering in Torrance CA. website is www.rceng.com Total cost was $50.00 for both leading injectors. You should also get new o-rings for the injectors. I also purchased new rubber insulators for mine. They costed $10 and are worth it. On a seperate note, you need to re-install the injectors soon after cleaning. I'd wait to send them until you have everything ready to install. They use a solvent while cleaning the injectors that can cause them to lock up if they are not used soon after cleaning. Contact RC for more information. I have also heard of a company in the midwest other users have tried. I think they are called Marren motorsports or something of the like. good luck,
