Solid engine mounts??

I am building my FD into a track only car and thinking of using solid engine mounts. Have people got any experience of these? Any problems with vibration cracks in the subframe or similar? I am assuming I will have to also solid mount the diff (axle), as, being solidly bolted to the back of the engine via the torque frame (power plant frame or whatever Mazda calls it), axle movement on rubber bushes will stress this frame as the engine is trying to STOP the diff moving.

Thanks.

Solid motormounts will definatly vibrate the **** outta the car. It may rip apart the subframe since the mount will have 3 large bolts holding it to engine, but 1small bolt holding it to the subchassis. I would'nt try and go solid on the rear of the car also. You need some flex somewhere, if everything is mounted solid you'll either snap an axle or driveshaft, twist the car's frame, or just rip it apart.
Check this thread on a project I just started,
