so my car is on jacks, and my ECU has been removed, the 4 wire pins have been pulled out ready for my PowerFC

rear tires have been pulled, brakes removed

i was supposed to be receiving my new PowerFC from jason, along with some hawk HPS brake pads

paid for saturday/overnight delivery, spoke with jason briefly on friday to make sure the credit card cleared and the order would still go out...he assured me it would

called fedex/ups, no records of anything coming to me

here's my question, what would you do?

put everything back? drive to ohio? (i live in atlanta)

 

Is it Fedex or UPS? Did you get a tracking number?

 

When did you place the order? Thursday or Friday? I'm guessing your FD is your daily driver.

Honestly I know it sucks to hear this but if your FD is your daily driver I would put everything back together (if possible, if not then ???) and reschedule the installs for another weekend. I know it sucks to be expecting parts and not have them arrive on time(or on the day you expected) but sometimes you have to just chalk it up as lessons learned.

If it's not your daily driver and if you can leave it sit then cover it with a tarp(if outside) and get on the horn with Jason asap to see when your stuff is coming/what's the hold up.

just an idea (speaking from experience)...what if you put it all back on then you were taking that sign of "good she's all done and good to go" then you go outside and the ups man is saying "can you sign for this"...you know what i mean

 

that's true...i was thinking the same thing

and i don't like putting excess stress on the plastic interior pieces, so removing once and replacing once would be ideal, i'm going to refinish my sunroof and all of the brackets that support it to pass the time...

 

i decided to wait until i see what jason says tomorrow morning...hopefully it will show up at my door

 

i know what your going through......i ordered some resonated midpipe feb.11th and it still hasn't come yet. The rx7store tracking said they didnt have it in stock and i would have to wait a couple days but its been almost 3weeks and nothing. This really sucks.

 

yeah, waited weeks for my emblems to come, and that was a <$200 order

now this is a $1300 order...same prob....

i've been told it's because they drop ship the items, they don't actually have complete inventory, they're just a middle man on some items

i'm going to be very upset if they decided to get in on the group buy and save some cash at the expense of my time, the reason why i ordered from them was to get it THIS WEEKEND

 

I paid for a radiator on the 22nd of JAN!!!

Do I have it??? NO, is my car running??? NO!!!

Wasn't Jason's fault that UPS damaged the one I recieved on 29th of JAN! Should I have a new one by now??? Am I a little upset, that I haven't driven my car about 5 weeks??? yup...lesson learned don't take car apart unless you have all parts...not DAMAGED...in my possession.
