It looks to me that the car has been repaired. It was in an accident that damaged the fender apron beyond repair. Although the replacement apron probably included the strut tower, the repair shop used the seam surrounding it to seperate the two panels, thus avoiding the need to disassemble all the suspension components. And to reinterate what turbojeff said, all welded seams have sealer from the factory. But while I can put a fingernail mark in my factory seam sealer, it isn't all that soft. As far as the fabric covers on the fenders, I don't know. It might be possible to duplicate them. It's probably more likely that the fender was repaired and those just managed to stay intact.

he is giving me the original stock turbo as well...if anyone wants to buy them pm me... nothing is wrong with them...

Took the words right out of my mouth. It is really noticeable on light colored cars as Ramy stated. It is very noticeable at the quarterpanel seams with the rear bumper off.
