All I can say it that I know the feeling. Back in 2004, I was parked in the parking lot of my apartment and I was in military Airman Leadership school for two weeks. I get home and I'm taking out the trash, and the entire side of my car is totally smashed. The only person it could be was my drunk neighbor with a huge pickup. I suspect her tire ran over the side as there was no paint for the other car and there were traces of rubber.

Good luck getting it fixed!

The same thing happened to me 3 weeks ago.....

happened 30min after arriving home from a night with friends and i didnt even hear the alarm go off, but the video shows it did. I have security video and so USAA knocked down my deductible since it was a hit and run.

Video is not clear enough to catch a plate or even a make.....

is that the rear of the car(looks like it but camera angle can screw up the pic)? if so that's a bitch... if it's the front, i'm sure there is MB front fenders laying around somewhere in decent shape that will only be a 1 hour fix.

that sucks, still probably worth the insurance claim... if you can prove you aren't at fault, your insurance shouldn't go up. that's a steep deductible though...

$1000 deductible?!?!!?

are you mad?!!?

you need to get a better insurance company/agent bro.

I only have to pay a $250 deductible on $1600 worth of damage, and all the money was electronically sent to my body shop of choice which my company lists as a trusted facility. Im only waiting on its appt on the 7th to take the car to the shop for the work to begin and then pay the $250 when the car is ready

This is what i woke up to a few weeks ago......

This makes me sick just thinking about it. Its the sad reality that even though you care for your car as best as possible, its still subject to all the normal risks of owning a vehicle.

lol wow.

Sorry about the hit OP. I saw my car get tapped a couple of years ago at a gas station while i was watching through the mini mart glass door lol

No damage, just a paint scuff which is still there today lol. I plan to do body/paint work in the next couple of years so i dont care.

honestly fellas,to us these cars are priceless,to other people these cars are just CARS nothing more. They will hit and bump your car like any other vehicle in the parking lot, that's just reality.
best bet is to keep a magnum 45 in your pocket and wait for some one to bump you

when I had my 350z, my neighbor backed his giant truck into mine. he paid me cash to fix it. had to replace a fender and my bumper. I decided to go with a replica aftermarket bumper. After I got it out of the body shop, someone had sideswiped my car. I fixed it again and also bought an authentic vertex front bumper and then a month later, someone backed into me again. I was like WTF and sold the car after I fixed it a third time.
