motor built & Blue printed by xs engineering , used effinty twins for the 4k break in and installed turbonetics t66 single turbo with newgen wastgate...
Problem: Blue smoke "from oil dumping into exhaust"
Question: what can be the cause?
...I have a -10 oil return that dumps straight down into a 90 and then goes
straight into the stock return.. all stainless and tig welded..
.....used and oil restrictor for the feed
...changed the turbo last night from t70 to t66 so its not the turbo seals
....need an oil change
....have not checked the pcv
...not sure if the omp could cause this
...need to check plugs
....not sure what the thing on the side of the intake manifold is thats located on the passenger side by the turbo??? It has a shield around it and it is porcelian and my buddy broke it , not sure but it looks important....

sounds like an oil drain problem, is your crankcase vented via the nipples on the oil filter neck. a 90 deg bend in your oil drain line could be the culprit also.
what size of restrictor do u have in the feedline?

I just changed mine to .035 from .060, which seems to have cleaned up the smoke.
I won't know for sure how well it works until I get the car to the track or an autox.
I'll have to try that, how small of a whole is too small? My oil return goes at an angle towards the passenger wheel ...it drops 4 in. straight from the turbo into a -10 90 fitting and then at a slight angle straight into the stock return...not sure if this could be a problem still...
