SMIC or FMIC Which is better...

I am in the process of buying an intercooler, I am leaning toward the M2 large SMIC intercooler because there is less modification involved and less pressure drop I now have the greddy SMIC but I want a bigger intercooler. Would the front mount be better? Will the FMIC cause overheating even if I have an aluminum radiator? What are the pro's and cons to both of them if there is any?

short answer would be that a FMIC would be better for a track car and a SMIC is better for a street car, I would go with the bigger SMIC, I too have the greddy SMIC and want bigger

Depends on the application and your geographic region.

Depends. I have not overheated with mine even on a hot day on track (GReddy FMIC 2-row with DUCTED Koyo rad).

Do us and yourself a favor and use the search function. This is a very hot debate, and there are many many spirited threads on the topic.
