SMB Exhausts.. any opinions?

Has anyone tried SMB exhausts? I've read some good about them, but I was looking for some personal experiences with their systems.

They are excellent and I know here in AUS it is becoming very popular. I have a mate with a full SMB and the quality, finish and not to mention the sound is tops.

Do you have a sound clip of his or anyone with this type of exhaust? The dual tip looks good and if its not horribly loud, id get it.

the titanium tip one looks nice

I'd go 3.5 all the way back with metal cat resonated mid, and twin tips in the rear...

I have an SMB high flow cat and it is of extremely high quality - as good or better as any Mazdaspeed or RE Amemiya product I have seen.

I have full SMB exhaust system, 4inch dp, 3.5inch subtrate cat and 3.5 inch bent tip muffler. Will be installing it end of next week. will let you know how I go and include some pics as well.

They made the 12 hour endrance race winning rx7 so it must be good.

I have it!

I got the 4" to 3.5" downpipe for stock twins and 3.5" resonated high flow cat midpipe going to a 3" RB dual cb.

Fitment is perfect, build quality superb and they provide awesome service!

Before I get flamed because I'm attaching a 3.5" system to a 3" catback, I had a lengthy discussion with Grant (smb) about this and he was honest enough to say that the difference is small enough that I didn't need to buy their 3.5" cb for the power levels I want. I really appreciated this instead of trying to sell me their stuff.

Sound is mellow and nice, very quiet when just cruising around. It does sound more hollow compared to the ceramic coated and wrapped Bonez dp that I had before but I suppose the ceramic and wrap are mostly responsible for this.

neit jnf: I was thinking the same. I think the 3in is fine but later date if you want to go big single later on the 3.5 will be much better. So yeah I got the 3.5 all the way coz I dont like doing things twice
