Sloppy interior DS door handle..how 2 fix
When I shut my door from the inside it feels like i am going to rip the whole door handle/interior off. How do I A: tighten up the handle so it actually feels like it is connected to door securely B: make it so I dont have to slam my door to get it to latch.

Or, C: Make a bracket, like I did, that goes around the handle portion, and bolts in two places; one in front of the handle mechanism, small screw, and the other is one of the 8mm bolts that bolt into the door.
I did this, and now the door handle and panel do not move one bit.
I also showed 65Imp (Mike) how to make the bracket and install it. Before, it felt like his door panel was going to rip off if he closed the door too hard. Now its solid.
You can ask him to take a pic of it; IF his car is still up on stands and in pieces.

I just open my window a crack before I close the door. the door closes on the first pull instead of the secon or third stronger pull that may make your handle feel like it is going to pull off.

I think they're talking about the flexing trim panel when you pull the door closed. It's pretty sloppy and feels like the trim and pocket is going to pop off the door assy. Makes a squeaky noise also.
