Question Guys with BOVs mounted to IC piping....

Guys with BOVs mounted to IC piping....

Do you buy the universal BOV kits?

I was interested in getting and HKS SSBOV but want to mount it on the IC piping...Which kit do I get? The universal or kit for the 93-95 RX7?

Let me know..
thanks

The HKS FD kit does not mount to the piping. It replaces the stock BOV and is off the manifold. It is similar to the Blitz kit for the FD.

If you want to mount the BOV to the piping then you will have to first get a hard pipe kit then weld one of the HKS universal flanges to it.

The flanges come in Aluminum, SS and Mild Steel depending on what it is to be welded to.

First you need to have piping other that the stock plastic stuff. Most BOV's like the HKS for example have a adapter that you have to buy separately and have welded onto the pipe.

Yeah you will prolly have to buy it seperately. They are about $35 just make sure to get the right one, They make them in both aluminum and steel.

The tial has a aluminum tube incorporated into its design,
That can be welded onto the IC pipe.
