Not true.

Reason: https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/review-ebay-headlamps-sylvania-silverstar-ultras-awesome-upgrade-688626/

Albeit the headlights ARE designed for RHD areas, the headlights offer a dramatic upgrade over stock headlights. Such is even more true with aging, stock headlights. These are the exact same headlights that some were selling under "Signal" headlights. No, they are not DOT approved, but neither are any of the headlight upgrades. And at a fraction of the price of other (uglier IMO) upgrades, it's hard to justify any reasons against getting these instead of other headlight upgrades.

If it wasn't for the fact that the adjustment tab was broken off my stock unit, I'd swap the stockers back in and throw these in the garbage, because that's what they are.

I'm sorry to hear that, as I'm extremely happy with mine.

I didn't have much issue with adjusting them. I just used some flat ground and a huge wall. It turned out very nice.

I've been looking for something like this. So i put my google skills to the test and found this:

Unfortunately, it's more expensive than the alternatives- and would require fabrication. So, i'm still looking.

And you are making these statements based on your own personal testing of all the headlight kits out there, not just your opinion, right?
