Looks nice, got any pics of it with the lights on and a reflection on the pavement or garage door would be nice too. BTW, what headlight kit did you go with?

He is making the kit and selling it in the groupbuy section.

That's what I did. Catz low beam 4000k, works a million times better than stock

I hope that's not the final product. That looks like *** (the beam pattern) and there's no focus on them. Let's see some shots looking down the road, not 2 feet in front of a wall. I can't imagine those light up much.

I was thinking the same thing, there is no cutoff on the beam either. I see blind people

I agree. That looks like some horrible light dispersion.

These are projector lights, might look different than normal beam. This is why center is focus. The strong light source is those two dots in the middle.

Two dots aren't going to light up jack on the road. Light needs to project ACROSS the road, not at one little point on it. I have projector lights on my 6. A 2000+ Celica has them. These are just examples. You need to refocus those A LOT.

I get what you guys saying. Maybe I should take picture of them far back. That way you can see the cutoff line. Thanks!

Agreed. Terrible light dispersion pattern. I see a cheap product, basically an HID bulb in the wrong projector housing. Different light sources refract light differently, which is one of the reasons why you don't get the expected results from inserting an HID bulb into a housing made for halogen bulbs.

The correct projector housings shouldn't have a "center focus".

There should be a cutoff visible no matter how close you are to the wall.

Exactly. They're a full circle. There is no cutoff. The only cutoff is on the bottom where the bumper is doing it because of design.

Might I sugest these Hella lights instead? The are 50mm (very small) so you can place them higher and/or have room to correctly change the beam hight. They are SAE street legal but not projectors, so they should have the wider beam that everyone wants. I was looking for a housing to make the kit myself. I thought they may fit the East Bear knockoffs but I don't like how they stick up. I would much rather have a flush kit. I might just do the Catz retrofit like Goodfella's did instead. ...unless you make this kit?
