Which Sleek Headlight Kit Is the Best?

I've looked at a few of the sleek headlight kits for my FD and can't figure out which one to get. I looked at the EVO-R ones, C West and RE Amemiya. As far as price goes, EVO-R is the best but I've heard complaints about it getting cracks in it or condensation. I saw the ones at R Magic, but they are really expensive. Does anyone know which ones are the best to get?

Best for what? Pretty much its your choice on what the "best" is.

the best? you've got to be kidding right?

The best looking is completely up to you. I think the RotaryRun headlights are the best looking, personally. I believe the RE-Amemiya are the best as far as quality and light output.

From what I've heard from almost everybody who has bout them, the Evo-Rs look a lot worse in person and they have terrible light output.

How do you feel about cutting up your car? Cuz if thats cool with you then get the RE Amemiya ones with the hid upgrade and your set.

then ebay is your friend. custom headlights for the rx with hid is going to be expensive, even custom hid retrofit with yoru own custom work will run 300-400 for the projector and hid, not counting the little things to tidy it up. you can start looking for used c-west, knightsport, etc...in the forsale section for around 300+

I agree. I wouldn't trade my RE-A headlights for anything in the world.

And yeah, most GOOD sleek headlights require you to trim some of the car's sheet metal. RE-Amemiya, Rotary Run, R-Magic to name a few...

If I were to buy any, I'd get the RE ones.

RE or RE-A? The ones you posted are RE-A. RE are replicas of the RE-A.

Try talking to purex7. He has the nice RR headlights and has talked about getting rid of them a few times.

The guy says he doesnt want to spend more then $700, so re-a and anything of decent quality is too expensive. Your best bet is hope a set of rotary extreme sleek lights hit the for sale section.

If your problem is light output, just buy a nice set of HIDs for the stock projectors.

They don't, but OEM projectors from certain cars fit inside the stock headlight housing. Certain lexus's and acuras I know for a fact fit right inside the stock housings.

fd3s4e has some sort of Lexus projectors in his stock housings. It looks great, I'll see if I can dig up some pictures.

My mistake, used the wrong wording, by projector i meant housing, either way you can add a nice set of HIDs for less then $300 and the lighting is a lot better then stock.

Define nice? I'd say just go to a junkyard and pull the projectors/bulbs/balasts out of a newer TSX or IS.
