What is so wrong with the original pop-ups that everone wastes time trying to improve on it? I drive mine .01% at nite because I like to drive fast in it. Put your 1500 dollar lites into HP.

There's nothing wrong with the stock lights. They are just old technology compared to today's super bright HID/Xenon lighting systems. Hell, when I started driving, my first car was a 1970 Nova SS. In retrospect, the lights sucked. But, at the time I didn't know any better. People are trying to improve upon old technology on an old car. Besides, the lights are plenty enough bright with some good bulbs (PIAA Super Xtreme 4200K/3950K), and when left on bright except for when in town or when approaching on-coming traffic.

For me it was a styling addition, much like a '99 spec front end or....? I just like that different look. The flip-up headlights tend to age the car, I think. Hardly ever drive the car in the dark so functionally alone it would not worth the $600 that I spent on the light conversion.

I must say that I'm not a big fan of the sleek light look, but your car looks great! Besides I like silver FD's!

If you have the old version RE lights, you should upgrade the new IPF lights they offer. Those are very nice too. I guess everyone has different taste. Some like pop up some like sleek. This is why I'm offering both now. KS 4 lights pop up next month!

Hey RX7Crazy_84, do you have any pictures of where you mounted the ballast and everything? I've got my set almost installed and have the wiring left, although I am not too confident when it comes to wiring electronics.
