Skyline Fmic Core On An Fd

ok there was a thread that showed a pic of a Skyline FMIC core on an Fd........i was wondering........if i get that core would it attach to the APEXI FMIC pipe kit for the Fd or would i have to custom fit it

also do i need to do any cutting to attach it to the body......plus how much would the whole FMIC kit would cost?

it looks real cool........i want to show off mah intercooler to those damn hondas and mitsubishis

Yes there is a core availble but I don't think you can use your Apex'i pipes, its from XS engineering and it cost about $1600-$1800. Personnaly I'm trying to figure out how to fit the Race core intercooler for the mitsus and the talons on a FD, they are as big as the desiel semi-truck intercooler cores!

Probably a custom job...but even a stock gt-R intercooler would do the job well for an FD....of course, they come stock in black

No, it's Apexi's C2 Core for the GTR Skyline. There are 3 kits that use that core for the FD. XS which is discontinued, RX-7 Fashion, and Wiliams Tuning/Turbo Street Fighter. I have the RX-7 Fashion version and am very happy with it. It's so damn big I need a new bumper to take advantage of all of it! Pics here - http://jrx7.rx7life.com/fmicpics.htm
