Question Size of Stock gauges?

Hi, I'm relatively new to this forum, I've been lurking for a couple weeks and a random post here and there.

I have a 93 with what seems to be a bad water temp gauge. When I start the car, the light on the gauge comes on, but the needle doesnt move.

My question is, what size is the stock gauge? I figure I can yank the stock gauge and put in an aftermarket gauge...

If anyone has any other insight on this, I'd really appreciate it.

Try doing a search for "Aftermarket Gauges" or something like that. I know I was trying to replace some of my gauges, When I first got the car I noticed the Gas gauge was a little weird. I think it was just me not use to the car. From what people responded to me it was going to be kinda complicated. I am pretty sure the gauge size is 2 1/16"

looks nice though

Forgot to mention that I had run a search. Nothing useful.

I'm just going to yank the meter and see what happens. Not like the thing is doing anything useful right now anyhow.

Funny...where your voltage meter is, my temp gauge sits.

lol, no man thats a pic I found when I was looking to do it. Have you ever pulled off the dash? The way they have the cluster set up you would need to dremel the hell out of it. When I put in my S2000 start button I saw that then made my mind that the stock gauges will work.

That pic was from this dash relocation how-to... heres the link

I know also on KD Rotary's site they have a pic flash for a second of this FD's dash with all Autometer gauges installed.
