Single vs TwinTurbo.

Hello all,

I'm new to the board and I live in the UK. Even tho i don't own a FD, I wish to buy one of these in the future. I've been on this board the last few days but still haven't caught onto the lingo . What does BPU Supra or BPU Rx7 mean. Sorry I'm a bit of a newbie with this type of stuff. Another question, i'm going to tune this FD with Apexi intakes, dp, highflow CAT, cb, upgraded intercooler in stock position, uprated rad, Power FC and Apexi boost controller, now how much boost can I run on the stock TT. Another thing I've seen a few posts about converting to a single turbo, can any of you guys tell me what the advantage of this is over the stock setup if your going to run the same boost.

Thanks,

Chun.

Well, you're looking at alot of money going single, if you want to do it right. Costs can be from $5,000 to well over 10K! It's going to be expensive but well worth it when you get the power. The twin setup can only go so far. Most of us plan to run off the twins as long as we can. You need to take a look at the setups before you go ahead. Answer these:

What size turbo do I want?
Do I want a already made kit or custom?

Thanks for the reply, sorry i got things messed up I meant sequential and non-sequential setups as well. I think I would want to stay with a twinturbo setup. Looking at posts I could achieve 300-320 at the wheels. That would be plenty for me. Looks like 12-13 psi is reliable on the stock twins?.

Thanks,

Chun.

Ah i c. Thanks street king. Thanks for the replys. I think I'll be happy with the stock turbo setup and run about 300-320 Bhp at the wheels, running sequential setup but with a lower crossover point.
