Not sure what your budget is but I have a very nice fuel system for sale in the 3rd gen section that you might be interested in, it will go well with your car...Complete with Inj, GZ LIM and CJ Rail....

Looking good. I am doing the same, except with an hx35 (18.5cm) and dual 40mm synapse gates on a large street port dynamically balanced fresh rebuild.

Keep it up.

Looking good. Suggestion, if you're not using those 4 nipples that run thru the lower intake then just pull them out over capping them. The passages run straight thru and not into the intake. Will look even better. In other words, not reason to cap them. Get a pair of pliers and twist while pulling.

Heres a update:

I got the motor in and everything looks good but there is some smoke from the turbo area and from the exhaust after 5 to 10 min of start up and also a oil leak but can't find the location of the leak yet.

Also i know some one is going to comment on the intercooler setup bc its not a true v-mount but its temporary until i get enough cash to buy a real setup. The car is mainly going to be in the garage and moved on and off trailers so i won't have any issues with cooling.

I also repainted the engine bay after i put the motor in, it would of been a better idea if i painted it with out the motor so i could get all the spots that i couldn't get to with the motor installed.

Here are some other mods i plan on doing for the next couple of months.
-Synapse BOV
-OMP block off
-water injection
-ABS delete
-engine damper
-Custom hood
-hood damper
-aerocatch hood pins
-Intercooler fan

All this will happen after i get my engine checked up by lucky seven racing.

But here are some pics of before and after.

Before

After

You could get it from autozone

The turbo was given to me from my dad and the manifold cost me $900, i don't kow the exact cost bc i had to buy alot of little stuff like all the fittings and lines, wastegate was like $450 i think (tial 48), I already had a PFC and boost controller so that helped, the intercooler was like $300 but i had to do my own pipping, but i still have to get injectors, i think i got it all down but i think i spent arround $2500 with out the price of the turbo which is around $1500 to $2000

noooooooooooooooooooooo.

Anyway, what's the benefit of going to single turbo? Don't they come twin turbo? Or do the older ones come naturally aspirated?

I'm completely new to the RX-7 scene, forgive me!

The FD comes twin turbo and the FC comes naturaly asperated and single turbo.
I went single turbo bc its less complicated than the twin setup, alot of the emission stuff and vacuum lines get deleted so alot less headache if something happens and also it makes the engine bay less cramp so not alot of heat gets stuck under the hood.

But you'll find more info if you searched.

Buying a kit is way cheaper than peicing it together like i did.
Try a kit from rx7store.net or A-spec

I forgot to mention you need other stuff like all the fuel upgrades (injecters and fuel pump) and a ecu (powerFC). Also most kits don't come with a intercooler

as you see in my sig it shows my mods, i pretty much have everything you said fuel pump, ic, pfc, 1300cc secondarys, would have to upgrade that and the rail later. and would also need a FPR.. Does the kit come with everything you need or do you have to order a bunch of other crap? i was looking at the kits online, they seem to be pretty good for the money.

From reading about it it sounds like it comes with everything but i've never bought a kit before so i really don't know. You might need more vacuum lines too.
