Single pulley?

I'm running without airpump, w/o a/c, and w/o p/s. So I'm running only one belt on my FD. Anyone know any company that makes a single belt pulley for the FD? I'm looking for a nice polished one. I'm running the stock crank pulley with the inner pulley removed. It works but doesn't match the polished aluminum alternator and water pump pulley. Thanks..!!

They don't list a single belt crank pulley. I'll give them a call on Monday to make sure. Thanks...!

Unorthodox Racing used to have a single belt conversion as well. But it was about 2 years ago when I saw it.

That's my mistake. I mis-read your message. I read it as you were looking for a "single pulley" verses an entire kit.

I don't think anyone sells one, honestly. It would be such a small market for a part like that. You'd be better off having one "worked" into a single belt pully and polished up by a machine shop.

What you do is buy the UD double pulley and have a machine shop cut off the outer part with a lathe. I have done two so far for my cars. Then buy shorter allen head bolts.

BEWARE!!! i got one from sr motorsports, the single belt pulleys do not line up. They sit back a belts width too far. all im going to be running is an alt and a/c so now i have to get a custom bracket to mount the a/c compressor further back so that the puleys line up.

Looks like with that pulley you have to remove the main center bolt to use that pulley. I've heard its really tricky replacing the entire pulley. But it is a nice piece.

Does the double pulley on the crank come apart? is this what you are reffering to? I was wondering if it just sandwiched together or was welded etc.

Yup, just pulls apart. I have been runnning the rear main crank pulley by itself for years now. Someone should weigh one and compare it to a 'lightweight' pulley
