Single Piece Center Console

Any one ever thought of making a single piece center console. I have mine out of my car and its beat up. Im thinking making a mold out of it and making single piece console with the shifter panel and the tunnel cover in one.

Any opinions.

If someone did the center console in fiberglass or something that was stronger so all the holes where clips snap into would stay intact as well as a fiberglass or cb center plastic that had reinforced clips that would never break or fall apart when you screw into them that would be a revolution in the world of fd interiors.

what if you eliminated the clips and switched retention to socket-head cap screws? Heck, I like my idea so much if you don't do it I might.

Im pissed because of how easy this **** breaks and how expensive they are to replace.

Im looking to make a single piece console as to eliminate the clips the tabs all that ****. i want to make it strong so it will last. I have never done fiberglass work im reading up on it and looking at lots of vids on the process. I think the hardest part is making the mold if i make it a smooth console with out all the little details in the shifter panel i can make the mold fairly easy. if i try to replicate the detail in the shifter panel i will have to use vacume molding to make it. Which i have seen is alot harder to do. im thinking an exact copy of the shifter panel as it goes mounted on the console and console. It would look sick in carbon fiber.
