Single connector 1 wire plug, where does it go?

So today I was changing my spark plugs and wires and while I was under the car I noticed that there was a single connector 1 wire plug laying under my car. It looks like it could be the oil level sensor plug but I can't be sure as I cannot find the wire that it broke off of. Does anyone have any ideas what it could have broken/fallen off of?

There are 4 locations that I know of that this can go to.
- Coolant temp sensor on passenger side of the block.
- Oil pressure sensor
- Starter solenoid
- Ground strap

It makes sense that it could be the coolant level or oil sensor listed above as you said you were changing the plug wires. That's in the same area as those 2.

Be interested to know which is. Reinstalled the motor into my car on Friday, and I too found a plug like that under the car. Just can't find a bare wire to match it to!

Well it is definitely not the coolant temp sensor or oil pressure sensor off of the oil pressure sending unit as they are both still connected. I think that it is coming off of the starter S terminal which is what I think Turk82 was talking about in his post. Not sure if it was a grounding strap or the S terminal, and unfortunately the UIM is off right now so I can't even try to turn the engine over. Here are pics of the 2 suspect wires that I found near the frame under the spark plugs.

The one zap strapped to the harness(starter harness) in the first pic looks like the same wire that is connected to the S terminal on the starter, the end on the S terminal has the exact same connector as the one I found on the ground. If that is the S terminal wire, the starter should not work when the key is turned correct? I can't see what that wire(picture 1) is supposed to be connected to.

Not sure wtf is going on with the wires in the other pic, definitely looks like a ground strap of some sort but I can't remember what it was connected to.

Now it looks like that connector may have just been attached to the wire in pic 1 of my previous post and that it was originally attached to my oil pressure sensor. I've circled the wire I think it is.
