so the question is will this work or will it go in to limp mode ?

It will work, but you need to put resistors on the plugs that are not connect so you don't get CEL

330ohm resistor 1/2 watts

You don't need them on the solenoids which are used for emissions only. Those will throw a code, but they do not put the car into limp mode.
