Silver Stripes?

What do you guys think about 2 silver stripes down the middle of a VR 3rd gen?

You guys have any pics of FDs with stripes?

I think that FD in those pics looks good, but I think that it would look better without. You've got a real sports car and don't need stripes to prove it. Ever see a Ferrari,Lambo,Porsche with stripes? I say don't do it, but it's up to you.

I like the stripes, like I said the pictues don't do it justice. I've seen all kinds of cars with stripes, from Porsches to Neon's. Looks nice on the Bonneville Racing Beat 7. Its not for everybody, but either is the FD.
People always confuse my car with a Red Viper GTS around the area. Maybe, I'll get the Viper body kit to complete the look.:p
Stripes look nice on almost any car if done right.

I agree and disagree. The stripes on the FD are O.k . I'm getting my FD back tomarrow night(been without it for 4 weeks which sucks) from the body shop. I had them put 2 stripes down the middle but mine are wider which makes the car look wider . I like that! and I got my inside trim peaces painted. Try and post some pics ASAP. Just FYI.

How could you not know that (the majority of)Dodge is owned by Daimler? Which happens to be a German company.

It was actually a merger (though considered a takeover by some economists) and what's the point in you trying to make JoeD look dumb by negating that this merger didn't occur until 1998 and development of the Viper occured in the late 1980s ... by the "American" Chrysler Motors. And not that final assembly means much in today's automotive industry, but the Viper's final assembly is still in the United States. Sounds "American" to me, as American as a modern car can be.

It was a joke, man. Being a former share holder I'm well aware what happened with the "merger", as well as the current state of the company.
