If you guys think that's bad, you should see the red/burgandy interior on FC's. It's rough...

Personally, I love silver and red FD's.

I saw a 100% stock silver/rd FD at a dealership with 30K miles on it. very sexy.

My fd was silver with red interior. I liked it, but after a while the seats started to get worn and the dark red faided off. Therefore, it started looking more maroon, but just on the leather. The door panels and everything else was still very dark red. I met a guy here locally and was going to just see if he wanted to switch seats. He was wanting the full red interior so I went ahead and did a full interior swap instead of just the seats. After swapping, I'm glad I went with the black. It was just more subtle and very slick. Even after all of this, I still have a love for the silver with red interior, though.

I hate the red, but..

1 Who the hell am i?
2 Are you ever going to please everyone?
3 Do you care?

If you like it do it, im sure you and any passenger will forget about the colour of the interior when your smoking some brutal machines on the streets.

I have a 94 silver/red FD. The red is a darker tone than in the 93's. Very few with that combination were imported (someone told me about 20??). As a result, it is hard to find replacement leather with an exact color match.

I like the silver/red but I also like the black interior. I am not a fan of tan.

i like the red interior to an extent. I think a lot of the red interiors have worn and dont look as pretty, especially the seat. I still have a think for black/red and the new seats were exactly what it needed. They do start looking maroon after a while and theres not as much red on the seats as before.

I am completley satisfied with my interior and actually get a lot of compliments. Very flashy and i think it suits the already flashyness off the FD....if that makes sense.

I wouldnt mind an all black tho

Mine is a 93 Black with Red interior, I absolutely love it and everyone that sees the car comments on the great interior color.

When I was looking for an FD I wanted either silver or black with red, i just love to have a diff interior than everyone else and also the contrast looks great!

It's just a matter of opinion though, for example, I love the RX-8's red/black interior but the all black, all beige or black/beige don't do much for me.

It's a JDM 1997 Bathurst X. I believe all bathurst X's came like that (white on red leather). It's a really awesome car, but it's too bad I'm coming back home to Canada.

Here's where Mazda got the idea from...

I just think the combination is awesome!

i bought my bb fd with a very faded and utterly hideous red interior which i swapped off for a better condition tan interior to someone wrapping their interior in cf. the red interior panels seemed to degrade quicker than tan or black at least from the other fds i've looked at.

the red interiors would be a lot better if a red/part red dash was included. it looks too pieced together the way they set it up.
