I must say Good ! Especially since I own a silver with red FD.
I think the red gives it an exotic look.
How many were produced with this color combo ? I know I have asked this before, but does anyone have any idea ?
Also if anyone is interested it is for sale ! Send PM for more info.

Every time I look at interior pics of the FD, I become increasingly worried that I wont fit into the one I plan on buying soon...

Silver7,
Thanks for the pics. I like how you put your gauges where the CD player goes. I recently put in a disk changer so I've been thinking about removing the in-dash player and using that location for gauges. I'm kind of surprised to see how few cars seem to have utilized that space for them.

Just thought I would post in this thread because I have a 93 silver/red and I LOVE it. Interior is a 9/10 on mine. I will post pics soon! I know there were 834 silverstones in 93...how many with red though??

silver and red sounds awesome. I have never seen it but in pictures, but i have a black/red and i honestly think silver and red would look better. I sitll like my black and red though

Not the company
I guess since it was bumped though; i'm not a huge fan of the red interior. I think it would have to be REALLY clean and only with certain exterior colors.

What A Coincidence!!!!
Wow, just read this thread from the past, I bought that '94 five years ago from the guy in MN and drove it 2400 miles back home to Sacramento!
For some reason I don't see any of the pictures he posted but I can guarantee the car looks even better now than when I bought it! I've taken VERY GOOD CARE of it since it is collectible, stock, and 1 of 24 94's made in that color combo. (it might even be the LAST SILVER/RED FD made PERIOD, since red was not available in '95)
It's got 42K on the odo now and it runs perfect. I added a couple of upgrades over the last few years, Tokico adjustables, Pettit AST, boost & temp gages, Mazdaspeed front sway bar brackets, stock R1 strut tower brace, front lip and brake cooling ductwork. I kept all stock parts and did not cut anything so it can be returned to complete original condition. Except for some slight wear on the driver's side seat bolster, the beautiful red and black interior is in perfect condition!
I have not seen an FD in better shape since I have owned 7's over the past 10 years and this includes 2 visits to sevenstock. There was a really clean '94 of the same color combo on ebay about 6 months ago with only 5k miles, but the pictures showed the aluminum intake was anodized and it's not best to let a car of this vintage go that long without regular driving. (it sold for 29K)
Funny thing is, I have been considering selling it lately to move into a C5 Z06. I've autocrossed the seven a few times but it's really too nice to take to the track in my opinion, and I've got the itch to do track events but can't afford 2 awesome cars.
Maybe if I do sell it I'll see this thread resurected again in 2012 and kick myself in the *** for letting it go... Stay tuned!

yeah i really like this as well... the only thing i dont like is where the red door panels meet the black dash. if they were designed as two separate entities it would be another story, but everything was designed to flow as one piece, and i feel like the color transition throws this continuity off. personally im sticking with an all black interior and having just the red seats, as they are a separate entity, and wont break up the lines of the interior. in order to make them not stand out too much, i think ill need some more red in the interior, but the only other place i can think would be carpet. anyway, im a big fan of red in the interior too!

That picture is a '93, my '94 has only red carpet and seats and looks awesome! The '93 red door panels don't look as good in my opinion.
Unless it's just the picture, the '94 red is a little darker, closer to burgundy...
