Silver with Red Interior

How rare are these? Did Mazda make them for both years and in different packages? Good or bad opinions on the silver with red interior? I've got a 93 FD Touring Silver with Red Interior and I think it' aight.

I hate most cars with red interiors, but an FD with red seats and carpet looks great IMO. Got any pics of yours?

Which red is it for the seats? Medium Red(left) or Red 3512(right)?

Such a pimpin color combo, but I thought it was only available on '94's.

hey you have a silver FD with red interior for parts?? are you trying to part it out?

if so i need that red panel that goes behind the seats... right above the storage bins.. its liek a big panel that goes across the back behind the rear seats and separates the front and rear of the car...

also what else do you have interior wise for the car?

As far as I know there are no official production numbers for silver fd's with red interior, but they are very rare.

The silver / red is a fairly rare color combo, though not as rare as black / red, of which I think I've only ever seen pics of one car.
And the 93 interior is different from the 94. The 93 was full on red, while the 94 had black carpeting and some other black trim pieces.....someone correct if I'm wrong.

I also think the '94 was a darker, more subtle shade of red. But again, there's an owner out there who can probably give us pics and details.

I believe I've seen a breakdown of interior colors somewhere, but I think it's on my old computer, so it would take some doing to find it.

I actually have a black '93 touring model with the red interior.

Red interiors were offered in both '93 and '94, and it breaks down like this:

'93s --> red seats, front kick panels/associated trim, door panels, scuff plates head liner, rear bins and associated trim, BLACK carpet.

'94s --> red seats, carpet, black everything else.

I believe the red is the same between '93 and '94. The red is a very dark color, like a "lipstick" red, but not quite dark enough to be bordeaux.

IMHO, the red is a classy color for the FD interior, and is very representative of a true sports car. Just look at all the classic Porches and Ferraris that came with red interiors..
