Silly question about wiper blade

I was going to replace my wiper blade today... so i dig up the user manual and i couldnt find the size of the blade (i double read the whole book like twice).

So i went to a shop.. the guy there get a Borch manual, and told me mine was 20" (driver) and 18" (passanger). i bought the thing home and i install them

soon to figure out the blade's length was not the same as the mark on the windshield....

(i search and search the forum for hours... the only thing i saw is someone mention that it was 19" ?)

Can someone officially clearify the size / length of the 2 wiper blade?

Thank you very much ><

I just changed my wiper blades. I bought 2 20" RainX blades, per the book they had. The passanger side blade sticks out a tiny bit, so I think 19s should be about right.

I have another question about the wipers, how do you get the wiper arms off on these cars?

I understand that much, but the issue is I don't know how to get at the bolts, the bottom part of the arms don't seem to pop off or pivot on a hinge like any other car I've had before. Are they supposed to?

Why couldn't your measure the ones that were already on your car?

You remove the cap to expose the nut. Let's see if you can figure the rest out on your own.

Open the hood and look at the base of the wiper. There is a rubber cap over the bolt. Take off the cap, remove the bolt, and take off the wiper arm. I did it a couple weeks ago to repaint my wiper arms. Here is a pic of the passenger side arm.

A little time spent doing some analysis and investigation (logical deduction) helps build character.

Since when are wiper blades brain surgery?
