side housing lapping.

I have finished my my large street ports and am ready to get the side and intermediate housings lapped.

Does anyone have comments and or recomendations? Best price? Best quality.

I was thinking about racing beat but they are more expensive then a lot of other places for similar things. But they are the only ones I know of for lapping.

Thanks

i would not lap the housings i would just get new housings. lapping tends to make the housings less reliable and not last as long.

So basically if I did that I would have a brand new motor less essentric shaft. Ah what the hell it only $550 for a new one why not.

I'm tring to save some money and have a better rebuild... But not the most expensive or the best.

Racing beat says not to rebuild a motor without getting them lapped.

You can reuse side housings. It's ROTOR housings you shouldn't really reuse.....

Just send them to Racing Beat, my mechanic does for engine rebuilds....
