Who gets the shutter bov sound....and if you do what BOV are you using?

 

do u have a after market turbo or wastegate

I have a xs-rfl, and it has a hint of it somtimes.... I love that sound and i was just wondering whos did it and if it did what BOV and turbo setup there where using. Im really not sure what causes it...but i know its called compressor surge. I prob sound like a idiot......

 

Either the blow off valve spring spring is too tight, the vacuum line has excessive length, of the blow off valve is too small for the application.

 

my rsx (i im thinking of what ur talking about) make that noise becasue of the bov. what it does is when i dont's spool all the way that it only gets like 5 psi and release it wount make the full sound and u get the shutter effect.
