shut off during deceleration @ 7600RPM

I was in 3rd having a little fun on Friday...took it to redline(almost - no rev limiter) and let off. while coasting down around 7600 rpm, went to shift to 4th. Something happened and the clutch started smoking and the engine shut off. I left it in 4th and popped the clutch to try and restart but nothing. pulled over and tried cranking. Nothing. got it towed back to work. Next day, cranked and it started. pulled the plugs and cranked. got even chugs out of both rotors.

Check your compression. Doubt it, but maybe something came loose and broke a seal or something.
