Should I have the midpipe or no

Ok guys here are my mods, I have a downpipe, Midpipe and a 2and half staight inch catback exhaust, With Knn drop in filter in the stock airbox. Now here is my question should i remove the midpipe and only put it on until i have an aftermarket ecu? or will i be causing the motor some harm if i have it on right now? With the midpipe the car revssssssss very quickly with very little pressure on the throttle, to the point where i dont need boost to pick up speed. The other question i might aswell throw in is, has anybody fabricated there own custom catback exhaust? i know of some asian aftermarket car store in my local mall that sells the muffler which is like 230 bucks but is freeflowing, and I'M planning to go straight 4 inch pipe that sucker to my main cat. Well that perform pretty good for my catback? I'am trying to save some money on this department because, to begin with i dont have much to spend, and the money i do get i want to put it towards my ecu.

i would put that cat back on b4 i started it again.. with stock ecu .. u have to be getting boost creep which will cause engine failure fast. do you have a boost gauge and keep tabs on turbos?

Thanks for the reply bro, yeah i do have a boost gauge i keep the boost at 10 psi with the gas pedal, but there has been occasions where if i press a little harder on the pedal the boost spiked to like 13 and 14 which is bad, so now i'am planning on taking it off i guess and put the main cat back on and tinker with my shitty catback instead.

Ditto. Keep playing the way you are, and pretty soon you might end up having to get more than just an ecu...

Those would be fine if this is as far as he is planning to go for modifications.
If you want to go any farther you might as well bite the bullet and buy the Power FC, Haltech, etc.

One of those people will be me when I can afford a PFC. I just quoted sort of the middle of the price range.

My buddy ran mid 11s with his M2 ECU and ported motor while still running the sequential system. I think a remapped ECU can take him pretty far
