Should I get the bottle?

Now I know how some people are about N2O on this forum, but I have an oppertunity to get a 75-150 wet rx7 kit for DIRT cheap. I mean nearly free dirt cheap.

The reason I'm considering this is becasue all I need is a new IC and my reprogrammed ECU will be maxed out. so to safely get more boost, I'd ahve to get a new injectors, and a PFC which equals a big chunk of change.(I didn't list fuel pump becasue I'd get that to run the N2O anyways).

Now I intend to get the PFC and fuel upgrade eventually, but thats a while down the road. And, as I said, I can get this N2O kit for nearly free.

What do you guys think?

BTW, current mods are intake, DP, MP, CB, and ECU.

I say get it, and wait until you get your other upgrades. If it is truly that cheap then you shouldn't let it pay you by.

Definitely buy it. Hell, if you don't end up using it you can sell it on ebay for a chunk of change. If someone would please explain to me the difference between wet and dry I would appreciate it. thanks!

Dry systems just inject Nitrous, Wet systems inject a mixture of fuel and nitrous.

my motto is "bottles are for babies", but u say its dirt cheap, so get it, and later on get the N-tercooler kit from NX that sprys n2o on your intercooler, which is ok by my standards...

You need to add additional fuel to support the nitrous, the purpose of the nitrous is that you can add more oxygen into the system because its cooler etc. however you need to add more fuel at the same time, otherwise its like running your car lean. I would buy the nitrous kit, but wouldnt install it or use it until you had upgraded your fuel system and got dyno tuned. With the midpipe you should even be upgrading your fuel injectors and fuel pump.

Thats why its a wet kit. Injects nitrous WITH additional fuel, so it doens't ahve to be supplied by the injectors. I nwo it would be a good idea to upgrade the fuel pump with this, which is waht I intend to do, but the kit should supply the extra fule into the mixture itself.

stoc injector can handle I MP. I still run plenty rich at WOT with my setup. Its when you start going past 13-14 pounds of boost you need to upgrade the injectors, and pump.

Definatly get it. I got offered a 120 wet shot direct port system pretty cheap 6 months ago and decided what the hell. It looks really good on my polished manifold, I should actually put up some pics of it. I havent used it yet as I dont have enough cash for another engine saved yet, but when I do I will start tuning it. If you do get it expect lots of people to say "awwww naaawwwssss", it gets old quick. -B

Install it and don't use it. Above all, don't inject it when you're revving at idle like some civic riceboys i know (i'm not naming any names, but they hang out at the rest stop on 280 next to the junipero serra statue and just sit there and rev... so stupid)

Thats a good thing??
I'd rather just leave the ricer hondas smelling burned rubber and rotary exhaust, with a nice blast from a BOV to assure them of their loss... (should have put this in the kills section)

I've been thinking about one myself...I think I have pretty much every modification done now, and I guess a small shot would be nice and safe, right?

and exactly how would that happen?

If I do use this, how woudl I go about retarding my timing without having a stand alone computer like the PFC

I think a MSD 6A-L can take care of that

I dunno, but you know what? You should do what you want, if you feel you would like it and wouldn't mind the NOS bs people feed you then do it! Especially if its as cheap as your saying. Get it and if you dont like it or dont want it anymore just sell it for lots of money, its pretty much a win win situation for you. No matter what, I say just buy it weather you use it or not, you can always sell it to get your money back plus more!
