sounds like it'd be more work than it's worth. With fire or water damage, there's always going to be things wrong that you didn't see at first, or can't find later on, that are going to drive you nuts. All it would take is for one small buried wire that had a little too much of its insulation melted off to cause a short, which could not allow the car to run or even cause another fire. I wouldn't, unless you're just going to use it as a shell and do the rest from scratch (all new wiring, all new engine, etc.)

Honestly it comes down to how much of the car caught on fire and how long it was on fire. Best bet is if it was maintained in the engine bay and the price is right you could replace everything and still have a good deal.

Doenst look that bad at all just have to decide if its worth the possible head ache down the line if you get it and fix whats wrong now then when something wierd happens in the future always have to look bacwards before you look forwards.

the body looks nice but you never know what else could be wrong. it is out of state. if it's worth the time, effort and money, go for it.

What are they asking for it? That's gonna be the deciding factor.

haha...tell me where and I will go buy it...if its a clean title I think that car is certainly worth the gamble...but be prepared as others have said to find other things wrong...could end up costing you another 5-7k to get it running...
