Does everyone LIKE to throw $ into mods and never tune their car or is it just me?
I only say that because flames are an obvious sign of running rich, and to that extent usually means lots of air intake/exhaust/boost/ecu manipulation without tuning...to some degree eh...

It's no wonder we have that "reliability" reputation...

Car is tuned perfectly. A free flowing exhaust, big injectors, and a trick in the PFC is all you need to do that.

i heard if you wanna shoot flames you can just set the power FC to dump fuel on decelleration or somthing like that

That "Trick" is to run rich, or give more gas upon deceleration huh?

I guess if you call 50 min of flames "tuned perfect" then it works.

Its running great A/F ratios, it just runs mega rich on decel. The second I put it back in gear the flame is gone. There's really no point in it. It wastes shitloads of gas and leaves black **** all over my bumper. Great anti-tailgating weapon though. And it makes half the people on the road nearly **** themselves when they see it.

HAHA, That's a great idea. I'll have to remember that when I get mine running.

Wow. That might be nice with an ON/OFF switch or something. James Bond's car only shoots fire when he presses the button.

So how exactly are you accomplishing that? Are you just adding a ton of fuel, or are you playing with the spark timing as well?

Dude all I have to say is what if you run by a cop with that or something. You've gotta wonder the amount of crap you'd be in being pulled over for lighting up the entire freaking highway...

He pretty much is. He is changing a setting on his PFC to dump a **** load of fuel on decelleration.

I think there is a kit where you can shoot flames on demand. I don't know if it works though.
