No, Im not running over 6psi. I've been lazy about trying to fix it. I think my PFC might still think I'm sequential and is trying to control boost, but I havent had a chance to get my hands on a commander to see if that's the case. I just havent gotten around to hooking a bike pump up to the wastegate actuator. Im a lazy ***. I fix it when it needs to be fixed. 6psi right now is about equal to a stock FD and thats fast enough for me for now. At least fast enough that I dont feel the urge to make 10psi ASAP.

As for the bumper - it just leaves this black soot all over it, and oily marks on the tail lights. That oily stuff covers half the bumper (from left of the license plate to the top of the tail lights) and wraps around to the quarter panel. It comes off really easy with heavy duty rubbing compound. Put some polish and wax on it and its back to new. Muffler tips back to new with metal polish. Only noticeable thing that flame has done is make the black plastic piece start to loose the texture it has and become flat. Thats only right above the tips though, and I doubt would even be noticeable to anyone unless they were looking for it.

All those asking how I do it - The PFC has idle settings. The top one is fuel cut and the bottom one is minimum rev (or somethin like that). Leave the bottom 3 alone. The top 3 values change to 8000. Make sure you have a free flowing exhaust (no cats at all). A local guy down here with a highflow cat is trying to do what my car does and he cant get anything. There are two ways to kick the flame out. First is to just rev it to redline a couple times. Just make sure you get to 8k. You'll hear it backfire, except when it backfires there's a flame thats actually coming out too. Have a friend rev it for you if you want to see. Its out for about 1 second, looks just like a jet, and will probably go about 8" out (my does at least). To get what you see in the vid you're gonna need to run it through a gear. I've managed to pop decent ones out in 2nd and 3rd gear, but 4th seems to be the best (as it gets the car dumping tons of fuel for a good amount of time). Get to 8k then drop it in neutral and look for an orange glow behind your car. If you drive next to a barrier its really easy to see. Or a dark road. This is gonna look like someone is holding a huge orange light behind your car, its unmistakable. It'll stick out there until you put it back in gear and let the clutch out. Usually it'll stay out for a long time (so far the longest I've let it wave around is just over half a minute), but every once and a while it'll suck back in real quick. Also, sometimes the flame doesnt pop out right away. I've let off before and coasted in neutral for a good 5 seconds before its come out. Just play with it - you'll figure it out.

As for the anti-tailgating weapon - on a trip to Houston a couple weeks ago some guy in a civic got behind me on the highway in busy traffic and started riding my *** like none other. There was a traffic in front of me and we were passing traffic in the right lane pretty rapidly so there wasnt much I could do, I guess he was riding my *** just to be a dick. I tried slowing down and flashing the brake lights but that just resulted in him creeping so close I couldnt even see the glow from his headlights. In a civic. At 70mph. This guy had to be like a foot away from my car. I was really afraid he was gonna tap my ***. So I dropped in neutral, revved it a couple times, popped out a couple quick flames that probably came really close to hitting him, and threw it back in gear. This guy hit the brakes! Instantly dropped off 10 cars, and from then on wouldnt get within 3 or 4 cars of me the whole rest of the way. I laughed out loud.

Damn, thats a lot of writing. Well, I hope it answers everyones questions.

The way I shoot flames, from what I hear by the "poping" and from friends following me, is when I am in gear I boost a lil and let off the gas. I keep it in gear though don't shift to neutral or anything, just coast in gear (slowing down), and I can see the flame in my mirror and reflection of other cars. My buddy took a quick pic of one of them just starting up. Check out the sig.

that flame is crazy. Next time, you can stick some yam potatos so you can have a mid night snack after the ride.

i talked to the Police Chief of Kirtland (like any of you know where that is) but anyway, he said that there is now written law about flames coming out your exhaust on Ohio. But he did say they can stick you with reckless op. if they want because that is the "if all else fails" law. So you better just hope they pull you over and go cool!
