Short shifters?

Was trying to weigh the FEED vs. the stock, but have not had time to go make use of the Postal office's scale. My guess is that the FEED shifter is about 20% heavier. It sits roughly an inch taller (lever in neutral) then the highest point of the e-brake at it's released position. Sorry, no other usable reference point in my car haha. (actually, now that I think about it, I'll try measuring from the roof down to the top of the shifter...have to wait for later). In comparison, the stock **** sits roughly 3/4" taller.

After I have read a lot about which shortshifters do this and that, I have decided to purchase either a Mazdaspeed or the Stillway shortshifter for my FD, but where can one actually buy this shortshifter's ??
Hope someone can help me. thank's.

Those 3 sell a Mazdaspeed Replica short shifter. I don't know if all of them ship overseas or not.

I installed the Gotham last week.
The first thing I did was take the shifter apart and lubriplate all the sliding and rubbing surfaces.
Because I had read about gear noise and buzzes I decided to check everything out while it was apart. I noticed that there was about an 1/8" of clearance in the spring pockets between the springs and the cover. I decided to put 1/8"nylon spacers in there to fill this space, so there would be zero clearance but no spring preload.
I don't like to do these installs more than once.
Anyway, the shifter is dead silent and tight.
It is a little stiff now but it seems to be nicely breaking in.

Yep, the replicas are good. While they are sold from 3 different places, I believe they are all made by the same manufacturer (I know at least 2 of them are).

The gotham racing one is the exact same thing as the ebay one for 20 bucks. No lie. I have compared the two in person. They come with the exact same hardware and are machined the exact same.
If you just want a general search in Ebay, I'd use terms like "FD3S" or "3rd GEN RX7" and see what comes up.
